NCSM Youth Chamber Ensemble
Instruments: String, Woodwind, Brass
Unlike pianists who can be self-reliant, most of the time instrumentalists, such as violinists or cellists, need to perform with accompaniment that makes ensemble experiences a mandatory part of their musical learning process. This Orchestral Ensemble gives the students the exposure to work in a large group setting and will help expand their teamwork and acute listening skills very early on.
Rehearsals typically meet once a week. However, when it is close to concert performances, a few additional rehearsals might be needed.

NCSM Guitar Ensemble
The guitar ensemble is a group performance class with an emphasis towards a scheduled performance at the end of the term. Unlike many instruments, the guitar does not have an opportunity to perform with standard ensembles such as orchestras, band, or wind ensembles typically found in our school systems. The guitar ensemble gives students an opportunity to benefit from the experience of playing with a group to build better listening skills, and the ability to work with others.
Please note that No Refunds or Make-Ups will be given if a student misses a class.
